Hi from Northern BC, Fort Nelson

Yesterday we entered the Alaska Highway at mile zero at Dawson Creek, BC. It makes the fact the we are actually doing this seem much more real!

Today we took a day trip up to the Northwest Territories. There really isn't anything at Fort Laird except a really tiny town. It was well worth the drive as we FINALLY saw a bear (four times) and some wild buffalo. Most of the times the animals we have seen have been no more than a car length away as they have been in the ditch right beside the road. It's been AWESOME!!

We are having so much fun and no we are not tired of each other. The weather has been ok and the roads fairly smooth.

Tomorrow we are only going as far as Laird Provincial Park. We decided it was too far to go all the way to Watson Lake Yucon so we'll go a little over half way and then relax in the Laird hot springs.

By for now!!!
