Hello yet again from Moab

This has to be a record. Three days in a row on the blog!

Who ever decided on what the 7 Natural Wonders of the World are obviously never came to Utah. Particularly Zion, Bryce and Moab!!!!! Everywhere we turn there is something different and spectacular!

We extended our stay here another day so we could finish up Arches National Park which we did this morning. It was increadable! We didn't quite see everything as the hike into some of the arches was over 5 miles well beyond our ability. especially in this heat. We had another hot cloudless day.

After the Arches, we drove up Hwy 128 which hugs the banks of the Colorado on one side with a sheer rock wall on the other. We connected up with the Mountain Loop Road a very narrow twisty road with increadable views.

Last night we took a river cruise with light and sound. The lights were simple white spot lights. High Tech lasers would not have fit in. They told us of the history of the area. Geological, human and historical. It was awesome. The stars were beautiful. At one point the side of the Big Dipper was resting on the top of the canyon. The most beautiful thing though was near the end heading back. The moon was brushing the top of the canyon wall, at times partially obscured by points on the wall. With the music it was impossible not to be moved and be just so thankful for being alive to witness one of Gods masterpieces. Unfortunatly I couldn't get any good pictures but it is forever etched in our minds.

Tomorrow we head to the Four Corners.

Til next time

LOL Eddie and Merrilyn
