Hello From Moab

Boy oh boy what sights we have seen!!

When we left Vegas, we went through the Virgin River Gorge. It was heartstopping beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes. The pictures below do not do it justice.

The drive through Zion was beautiful. We had to go through a tunnel where they stopped the traffic coming the other way so we would fit through. The switch backs were a reminder of Hwy 101 but not as hair raising. In Zion you are in the bottom of the canyon looking up. Pretty impressive.

We went to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It was beautiful but we weren't as impressed as we thought we would be.

Bryce on the other hand was SPECTACULAR! Impossible to describe. You have to look at the pictures below and even then.......

Today's drive was a nice one. Through ever changing landscape. Beautiful!!!! Did our good deed and stopped and helped a young couple who's car was broken down on the side of the interstate. The wife, Hollie, was six months pregnant and VERY hot. Ed says hot as in heat and not, well you know. We stayed with them for an hour and a half until the tow truck arrived.

We are now in Moab and it's not as hot as Vegas in the evening but it sure isn't as cool as Glendale was.
