Hello from Sin City

Our drive from San Fran to Vegas was facinating. Beautiful flowering shrubs in the median. Rocky, sandy, sage brush vegetation. Two high mountain passes. A huge wind farm with literly thousands of windmills.

Vegas is everything it is made out to be.

We've gambled in five different casinos and lost all $111.00 we put in. (Combined)

This afternoon we are taking a helecopter ride over Lake Mead, the Hoover Dam, over the Skywalk and down about 3000 feet into the the Grand Canyon. We then land and are taken by covered wagon to a ranch for supper and then back over the strip at about 8:30. We decided not to do one that included the Skywalk because you are not allowed to wear ANY jewelery (including wedding rings) or eye glasses and I can't see with out mine!

Still haveing a blast. It's HOT HOT HOT Over 50 in the sun by the thermometer in the 5th wheel at about 9:30 this AM
