Hello From Amarillo Texas

Hot and dry here. They have only had one inch of rain in the past year. Normally they get between 12 & 14 inches a year. I can't imagine living in an area with such little rain.

We went in the pool yesterday evening and likely will this evening as well. It cooled down nicely last night but was still warm in the 5th wheel. It's like trying to air condition a tin can.

Today we went to Cadillac Ranch. 10 Cadillacs buried nose down in the dirt and people go and spray graffiti on them. It was neat too see. We also went to Route 66 shopping area. A one mile stretch of antique shops and restaurants along Historic Route 66. We were a little disappointed as it was very dumpy. Ed got himself a Route 66 sign. (It's a guy thing!)

Went and had the oil changed in the truck.

We are doing some down time, taking it easy on the days we aren't travelling.

Wednesday we head to Oklahoma City. Hope to go to the bombing memorial.
